Is there any other wood or composite I could use ? There is a decent bend and would have to soak or steam the white oak good. what do you recommend. 12 Foot Sturdee Amesbury Dory w/ 9.9 4 stroke Suzuki motor and trailer. My dory is in very good condition with oar lock, oars, anchor and tie off rope. Suzuki motor is like new 2017 with 8-10 hours. Trailer is a Yacht Club trailer 2" ball with great tires and functional lights.
