This should remove all the terrain within ten meters of you. The dig command is a fairly useful one in this situation. If it's really stuck on land, like , you can type the console command 'item terraformer' to give yourself the terraformer.

Problem with the cannon. In order to get the cannon you have to swim back to your base, and then the Aurora despawns, and the seamoth falls. I don't know if it will get stuck in the aurora like the seamoth does in the island, but I don't know, maybe my argument isn't valid here.
